At the annual International Dance Music Awards (IDMA) show in Miami, Armin van Buuren received an award for his ‘A State of Trance’ radio show for ‘Best Radio Mix Show DJ’.
Armin van Buuren, current holder of the number one position in the renowned DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Poll, received another 3 awards. He was crowned ‘Best European DJ’, and his collaboration with Sharon den Adel, ‘In And Out Of Love’ was awarded ‘Best Video’ and ‘Best Progressive/Trance Record’. Armada Music was chosen Best Global Dance Label.

The awards, as official part of the Winter Music Conference, are the leading awards in the international dance scene. Awards were rewarded in 51 different categories, of which Armada Music won 6. Amongst them, was the award for ‘Best Global Record Label’. The 2009 edition of Miami’s Winter Music Conference was held from March 24th to 28th and had over 60.000 visitors from 70 different countries. A big selection of DJ’s, artists and business representatives from the dance scene were part of this important, annual conference.
