With 14 Dutch Top 40 listings in the past decade, Armin van Buuren is the dance act with the highest number of hits in the Top 40. ‘Yet Another Day’, ‘Shivers’ and the more recent ‘In & Out Of Love’ were some of the tracks with which the Dutch producer scored big hits and high chart positions in the Top 40 lists of 2000 to 2009.
A good end and promising start for Armin van Buuren, who was voted number one DJ for the third year in a row in October 2009, in the critically acclaimed DJ Mag Top 100. Armin van Buuren had his first Top 40 listing with ‘The Sound of Goodbye’, back in 2001. Van Buuren had the biggest success with ‘In & Out of Love’. The collaboration with Sharon Den Adel reached the Top 10 in 2008 and remained listed in the Top 40 for an impressive 11 weeks. The most recent listing in the Dutch chart was his new single ‘Broken Tonight’, for which he collaborated with Dutch singer VanVelzen.
