It is almost time for A State Of Trance Festival in Utrecht. This edition, packed with the biggest names in Trance in a location with a huge Trance history, will be the fifteen-year anniversary. Especially for this celebration we are going to give you 15 reasons, one a day, why you shouldn’t miss out on ASOT Utrecht!
Reason number 1: There is only one 15-year anniversary
We don’t know where you did your math but if you count up 15 years, you’ll probably end up in a 15 year anniversary and it will cost you the same amount of time to get to that same point again.. Therefore this will be the most epic A State Of Trance you have ever witnessed!!

Reason number 2: There will be only one ASOT this year
This year there will be only one A State Of Trance event.. Yes there will be a hosting in Miami, but this will be the only full blown A State Of Trance event especially for you!

Reason number 3: The event will be streamed live
We understand that it’s not doable for everyone to come to The Netherlands for ASOT, but we do want everyone to get the chance to see it and feel the vibe! Therefore the event will be live streamed on the official A State Of Trance website.
Reason number 4: ASOT is the birth-ground of ‘WHO’S AFRAID OF 138?!’
What started out as a joke in Armin van Buuren’s ASOT radioshow, has turned into a worldwide happening and an own stage on the ASOT Utrecht event! For everyone that loves the booming bass of the faster, louder, uplifting tunes of the trance genre!

Reason number 6: ASOT is an indoor festival
A State Of Trance Festival Utrecht is an indoor event located in the Jaarbeurs. a massive warehouse with different areas. So even when it’s raining outside, you will be kept in your State Of Trance!
Reason number 7: The 15th anniversary celebration moment
We will celebrate 15 years of A State Of Trance with a 15-minute celebration moment at the Main Stage from 00:30 until 00:45. We can’t reveal anything yet, but it will be a celebration for sure. Be there or be someone who missed out! ;-)

Reason number 9: People in the crowd will be picked to meet Armin van Buuren in real life
No, your eyes are not playing tricks on you! Everyone gets equal chances to meet & greet Armin van Buuren during A State Of Trance Festival! During the night, people will be randomly picked out of the crowd to meet Armin that night!
Reason number 10: 4 times 9 hours of music!
Every stage will be throwing 9 hours of music at you and there are 4 stages. That’s 36 hours of music… Do we need to say more?
Reason number 11: Paul van Dyk for the first time at ASOT Utrecht!
Paul van Dyk has never ever played on A State Of Trance Festival Utrecht before… Can you imagine? The man, that is definitely one of the pioneers in Trance, will hit A State Of Trance Utrecht for the first time and you can be there to witness it!
Reason number 12: Armin will play an exclusive vinyl-only set!
Armin van Buuren, the man behind the show, will play a vinyl-only set to give you that old-school sound you have been longing for. Nothing beats the crackling of black gold!

Did you already know that A State Of Trance Festival Utrecht will go on till 6AM? And do you know what this means? It means that you can listen and dance to your favorite DJs all night long! It means that you can prepare all day for the night to come! It means that you can dance until the sun comes up! Did you know the radio dome has the shape of a half sun? It all sums up now… And if you can’t make it to the actual event, you can watch the live stream from the comfort of your own couch!
