The results for the 26th edition of the International Dance Music Awards are in. And Armin owes you all a big thank you for making him a nominee in 8 different categories, with 9 different nominations.
Last year’s ‘Best Global DJ’ award is still shining on his mantelpiece, but he might just get another one this year. Armin isn’t only nominated for ‘Best Global DJ’ though, but also in the running for ‘Best Producer’ and ‘Best European DJ’. ‘Not Giving Up On Love’, his collaboration with Sophie Ellis-Bextor and second single off his ‘Mirage’ album, was nominated for ‘Best Commercial Dance Track’ and ‘Best Trance Track’. ‘Orbion’, also taken from the ‘Mirage’ album, is also in the running for ‘Best Trance Track’.
The A State of Trance show, that’s about to celebrate its 500th episode with a big bang, is nominated in several different categories. ‘Best Radio Mix Show DJ’ for A State of Trance, ‘Best Full Length DJ Mix’ for Armin’s A State of Trance 2010 compilation and ‘Best Podcast’ for the A State of Trance Podcast’.
Armada Music, of which Armin is the co-owner, is nominated for ‘Best Global Record Label’ once again, and is therefore in the running for a hat trick.
